The a twin room with kingsize bed and smart shower, for instance. Marvellous location short walk from Bayeux Embroidery. Also - very close to Bayeux and surrounding areas, the cathedral, and a quiet area behind the Town Hall.

We faced significant frustration during check-in at the wrong hotel. The steep stairs made carrying our bags a nightmare, especially with no bellman to assist. It took away from an otherwise enjoyable experience, overshadowing the room's quality.

The stairs were an absolute nightmare, especially long and steep. And don't get me started on the breakfast-severely underwhelming. A tiny portion of fruit gone by the time I got there, and I was expecting more since I thought I was some sort of VIP guest. I almost gave a good review but just couldn't!
